CSR and SMEs: A Regional Approach

 
 

In recent years CSR has developed into a global initiative. Different regions, however, are characterized by different cultures and attitudes. They are also likely to face different problems, which may range from a lack of awareness to a lack of means and tools over to a need to enhance productivity, marketing and branding capacities or to create opportunities for youth by promoting responsible entrepreneurship in emerging growth sectors. Such regional concerns can best be addressed on the basis of cooperation and collaboration among countries in the same region.
